RoofScope Basics

A RoofScope report includes detailed roof measurement quantities, total roof squares, slope breakdown, high roof, ice & water barrier, and line-item measurements for edges and folds such as eaves, rakes, ridges, hips, valleys, and flashing.

RoofScopeX is a streamlined report designed for quick bidding. It includes total roof squares and a pitch breakdown.

RoofScope reports are backed by a rigorous quality assurance process and are designed to provide detailed, reliable roof measurement quantities. Final material needs may vary based on waste factors, product selection, installation methods, and field conditions.

We can provide a Scope for 99.9% of addresses in the United States and most of Canada. We can also generate reports from blueprints for new construction projects.

Yes. You can upload blueprint files directly from the home page by clicking Upload Blueprint. We accept PDFs and need a roof plan, floor plan, and elevations to complete the report.

Pricing and Memberships

A standard residential RoofScope report is $39.95. For pricing by report type, membership discounts, and additional options, visit our pricing page.

Yes. Annual memberships and prepaid deposits are available to help you save on reports. Compare options on our Membership page, or Schedule a demo with an account executive to find the best fit for your business.

Memberships give you access to report discounts, expedited delivery, and exclusive features. Your membership acts like a prepaid deposit, so the money you pay toward your membership goes toward the purchase of reports with no additional membership fees.

All memberships are annual commitments. You can choose monthly billing or a one-time annual payment. Each month, your deposit is added to your account balance. Unused funds roll over, and any overages are charged to the credit card on file.

 If your membership payment is declined, your account may be temporarily suspended. Log in and follow the pop-up prompt to update your payment method and reactivate your membership.

Ordering a Report

 Yes. Create an account to place orders, track report progress, and download completed reports.

 From the home page, enter the address you’d like measured. Once the map loads, place the location marker over the correct structure and confirm your selection. If we need help verifying the structure, our team will contact you before completing the report.

 Yes. For residential properties, you can include up to three auxiliary structures at no additional charge. Auxiliary structures include detached garages, sheds, and gazebos.

For multi-family or commercial properties, enter the number of buildings during the ordering process, up to 20 structures, and we’ll include them in one comprehensive report. For properties with more than 20 structures, please contact Customer Experience at 877-697-2673.

Note: Comprehensive reports are available for roof and gutter reports only. Other report types must be ordered individually.

 Yes. You can add a claim or reference number in the Review Order section during the ordering process.

You may cancel a report within 3 hours after the order is placed, as long as processing has not begun. For help with a cancellation, contact Customer Experience at 877-697-2673.

Report Delivery and Support

Residential RoofScope reports are typically completed in 12 hours or less. Need it faster? Rush delivery of 3 hours or less is available for an additional fee.

Once your report is complete, you can download it from your My Scopes page. You’ll also receive an email with a download link. If Text-to-Scope is enabled, you’ll receive a text notification when your report is ready.

Tools, Add-Ons, and Integrations

ProDocs is our free-to-use software that helps contractors turn Scope measurements into professional quotes and material purchase orders in seconds. It can help streamline your bid-to-quote workflow and reduce manual entry.

 Text-to-Scope lets you order reports in seconds by texting us an address. You can set it up from your My Details page and start submitting report requests from anywhere.

 Yes. You can download the Scope App from the App Store or Google Play to order and manage reports from your mobile device.

 Yes. You can request a RoofScope directly through Xactimate. To get set up, call us at 877-697-2673.

You can also add an ESX file to your RoofScope report, making it easy to import the report measurements into Xactimate.

 The Scope API allows you to connect Scope data directly to your existing workflow through one of our Integration Partners. To get started, turn on Easy Pay from your My Payments page, then go to My Details to access your Scope API Token.

Account Help and Contact Information

 If you forgot your password, go to the login page, click Forgot Password?, and follow the prompts to reset it.

If you’re already logged in, you can update your password from the My Details page.
